She has been living and working in Finland, Italy and Australia, and currently her studio is near Sipoonkorpi National Park in Finland. Her work explores the relationship between human and nature and also conceptually covers difficult issues like religion and environmental changes. She will work with the theme Centennial celebrations: Impressions of Tartu and Estonia:

I will work to find out visual differences and similarities of our countries and in every day life of local people in both countries. During my residency I will produce with different artistic methods expressions of these studies.

Tiina is staying in Tartu as a part of the residency exchange between TAiR and Vantaa Artist Association.
