Tartu AiR is about cooperation and synergy. We hope that Tartu will provide you with an inspiring working atmosphere, while you are providing the city with good thoughts and share your talent with us.

Short-term 1 month residency

 

TAiR agrees to:
  • Welcome the artist and provide a personal introduction to the local art and social scene
  • Promote the residency project using social media and TAIR webpage
  • If desired and if possible, work with the artist towards a public outcome
  • Provide free accommodation
  • Provide a production grant of up to 50 euro
The artist agrees to:
  • Acknowledge Tartu AiR in the publications connected to the particular work of art
  • Contribute to the development of Tartu AiR programme and promote it by available means
  • If possible, donate one artwork
  • If possible, write a small blog entry about the residency
  • Cover the following expenses:
  1. TAiR contribution of 300 euro
  2. Studio space
  3. Travel expenses
  4. Per diems
  5. Additional materials/tools not covered by the production grant

 

Long-term 3 month residency

 

TAiR agrees to:
  • Welcome the artist and provide a personal introduction to the local art and social scene
  • Promote the residency project using social media and TAIR webpage
  • Work with the artist towards a public outcome
  • Provide free accommodation and studio space
  • Provide a production grant of up to 150 euro
  • Provide travel support of up to 400 euro
The artist agrees to:
  • Work upon and complete a new work which will be introduced in Tartu during the residency period
  • Acknowledge Tartu AiR in the publications connected to the particular work of art
  • Work towards a public outcome within the AiR period
  • If possible, write a small blog entry about the residency
  • Contribute to the development of Tartu AiR programme and promote it by available means
  • If applicable, donate one artwork
  • Cover the following expenses:
  1. TAiR contribution of 300 euro
  2. Additional travel expenses
  3. Per diems
  4. Additional materials/tools not covered by the production grant
